Belinda (Be-Love') Allen:
|
Developed her voice and love for singing starting as a two year old toddler in a small church in Florida under the direction of her Father, Reverend Allen. During her teen years her voice awed audiences traveling the east coast from Georgia to Florida and finally to Syracuse, along side her identical twin sister. Together they joined a female gospel group, called Unique, stirring souls with their angelic voices in churches throughout Central New York. Their popularity in the church circuit moved them to create a duet called One Image. One Image entertained a wide variety of audiences from local talent shows to touring with the pioneering quartet gospel legends the Mighty Clouds of Joy in 1988. After many years of touring she took a break to raise her three beautiful children (who are also talented and are now following in her footsteps). She is honored to find herself one of four very seasoned songstresses in “Ladies of Soul”

Patricia (Goldie) McCullars:
|
Evolved into a singer at an early age. She would sing with her family at family gatherings, junior church, and the adult church choirs. Choirs played a pivotal role in refining her singing journey. During her high school years she joined two female singing groups, “The Charms” and “Tic, Tock, and Love”, which won, hands down, many talent show awards. She has always had a great respect and admiration for the Grammy Award winning African American singer, Pattie Labelle and the Blue Belles. She later joined The Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company Inc. in Syracuse, New York, where she performed as a musical theater repertoire member in many musical productions and events for about 10 years. As blessings have it, it was through this invaluable experience which lead to the formation of "Ladies of Soul".

Began her singing career in church and school affairs since the age of three. Born into a family of singers that migrated from Virginia to Syracuse, New York, she is one of five siblings. The oldest of the three were known as a gospel powerhouse of voices called “The Goode Girls". Their harmonic voices blended like angels from heaven. KG has always found herself a member of a church choir, an acting ensemble , or a local musical production company. Over the years she accompanied many vocal groups as both the lead or background singer. While her current love and commitment is performing with “Ladies of Soul”, one of her most memorable performance highlights was when she graced the stage as “Ladies in Blue” with the "Syracuse Symphony Orchestra”.

Started singing at the age of eight years old in her home church choir in Macon, Georgia. Throughout her formative years she was influenced by and admired the melodic voices of Billie Holiday and Whitney Houston. In high school her passion and determination led to being voted “Best Female Vocalist”. She performed in numerous talent shows, which opened doors to a career to entertain regularly as a wedding ceremony singer. While living in Syracuse she performed extensively as a member of the musical theater repertoire of The Paul Robeson Performing Arts Company Inc,. She sang as a lead and back up singer and acted in various roles. Her most notable performance is her unforgettable rendition and impersonation of the sultry songstress Etta James, which landed her a role as one of the soulful voices of “Ladies of Soul”.
